This is Hachi in Örebro, Sweden. On our second night in Sweden, we had a reservation at this place, which Johan’s mum has been raving about since last year. Johan and I went there with her to celebrate the three of us.
As a fish lover, this almost made me cry of happiness.
Had some beer to go with the sushi. I had the alcohol free one, was quite tasty.
We started with the liver from monkfish.
Järntorget outside, a beautiful square, especially covered in snow. Earlier that day, we woke up to snow, yay.
Mr Chef served us piece by piece. Everything was super delicious, literally everything. Tried sea urchin for the first time as well, yum.
Was a beautiful setting, it was just us and three other guys.
And oyster, need I say more?
This was my first time omakase style. I can highly recommend going here, also if you need to ride over to Örebro for it. It’s worth every mile.
Johan’s dad came to pick three happy people up with the car.
Passing by Svampen, the signature building of Örebro. What an experience, we almost never go into town when over there, because it’s so cozy to stay in my in-law’s beautiful house where Maria (my mother-in-law) cooks better than most restaurants. What an evening, thank you Niklas and Evelina at Hachi. Can’t wait to come back.
