Monday brunch

January 29, 2018

Last Monday, Johan and I met our friend Cameron for a farewell brunch. Cameron is a friend from Pennsylvania who comes over to Berlin about once a year and we hang out quite a lot. He wasn’t familiar with Russian food, so we took him to Datscha.

This is the Worker & Farmer plate, we used to eat this every time we visited Berlin before moving here, so it’s pretty much nostalgia.

Like I wrote on this instagram post – I almost never eat breakfast those days, so sometimes breakfast food is what I have for lunch (today: coffee and two open cheese sandwiches with bell pepper). Skipping breakfast makes me much more efficient, I have more energy and feel much more inspired before I eat. Usually I’m working for 4-5 hours before anything else but coffee lands in my belly.

What’s up this week?
I am making Wrist Worms (this pair) right now and later this week I’m expecting a delivery of something that I look so much forward to showing you – one of my most fun jobs ever.

Guten Tag Sandra! I have been reading your blog on and off for years. I just checked in after a long absence and so HAPPY to see you and Johan are still strolling Berlin and sharing pictures of your delicious looking meals and artfully foamstyled coffees. Thank you for all the care you put into your postings, it is most appreciated. I love to crochet myself…so I am off to click back through your archives asn see what other projects you have been up to.
