While in Hamburg, Fiona and I went to Le Lion – Bar de Paris for champagne and a cocktail. Had some olives and asked where we could get tasty oysters on a Sunday night. They recommended Café Paris across the street and my oh my what a beautiful place!
We got more champagne, a couple of oysters and some cheese. Those oysters, man! Not sure if I ever had oysters that good in Gothenburg when I lived there. And Gothenburg is famous for its seafood. Hamburg reminds me a lot of Gothenburg. Saying it again, need to go visit again soon.
This is Fiona. We’ve known OF each other for 7 years. I used to come to the pizzeria where she worked when I moved here and some years ago we met in a bar and started talking. She told me Johan and I were her favourite customers, because we were always friendly and never complained. I told her she was always helpful and friendly. Compliments made us become friends (well, not often have I made friends by insulting people). What made us better friends is our passion for good food and drinks. And she is the mum of Peps, my dog BFF.
Another future home in Hamburg.
That’s it from Hamburg, now time to go back to Berlin posts. Have been out eating at a few places since I got back and even remembered to bring my camera, time to share some good food spots in my neighbourhood, right? Interested?
