A portrait of a man

February 1, 2013

Most of you know who this is, I take too few pictures of him these days which is something I want to change.
Yesterday I met him for lunch at a restaurant, he was sitting in the sunlight looking really happy. A glass of red wine in front of him and I said Wow, so you’re having wine today? a bit surprised. He looked at me and said Yes of course, it’s Friday and you know I celebrate weekend this way. I didn’t know how to break it to him that it was Thursday. Luckily he’s an optimist – he just laughed and said Great! Now I get two Fridays this week!.

Happy weekend everyone!

Ps. I’ve been reading your comments on the last post with great interest, so glad you liked the post and wanted to share your stories.

What a stunning photo. I'm not sure if it's the lighting or the fact that you have such a handsome husband, but this is just beautiful.

I enjoy your blog because you are so good at looking for beauty in the everyday. You take morning walks, Johan has wine on Friday – EXACTLY what we should all be doing. Your blog is so simple, but so beautiful ~ I am sure a great reflection of the person behind it. 🙂 Thank you!
