It's so remarkable that you are now here in this place you love, and that you feel in love with it so long ago. "home place," what an important facet of our lives.
So beautiful, and it makes me quite emotional to glimpse Berlin "back then": the Palast der Republik, that vacant lot on Rosenthaler Strasse still in place, the Radisson hotel unbuilt. I would love to see more of your photos from that period.
This is so wonderful. Also I think these are great for digital shots back then. And what's amazing is that you finally live in Berlin. Dreams do come true (with a little bit of hard work, right? :))
Brilliant! 10 years ago I visited Berlin for the first time. I feel in love with the city too. I remember the T-Mobile thing covering the Brandenburg Tor. Wow. 10 years.
wow! i moved to berlin ten years ago. somehow it feels like ages ago, sometimes like no time passed at all. and it's true! really good photos, i had the crappiest camera at that time and my photos are just horrible.

I love Berlin too, but I'm still wondering if I could handle the winters enough to live there (being from Sydney). I love to visit though!
I've just visited Berlin and I would love to live here in 10 years!
That outside night shot somehow evokes a very strong nostalgic sentiment in me. Maybe I should move to Berlin, too.
