Monday Walk, Part I

March 20, 2012

Last Monday I must have taken one of my longest walks ever, it started with a stroll from TriBeCa up to Central Park (one part on The High Line). New York City feels much smaller to me since I moved to Berlin (Berlin’s area is larger than NYC’s).

Sandra, it is your pictures that have made me notice the beauty of cities and the uniqueness of each one. I love the bold shapes in your photographs. It is good to see NY with your eyes.

This is going to sound like a silly question. What kind of shoes do you wear on these long walks? I love going on photo walks as well but keeping my feet happy is a concern. Just curious.

Great shots, Sandra. Some day come to Toronto for a walk.

These are amazing! I thought New York felt a little small but realized that I had only visited Manhattan. Although I've never been to Berlin so I'm sure it's a different kind of sprawl!
