A day in Brooklyn, Part I

March 29, 2012

One of the best things about my trip to NYC was to walk around on my own while Johan was working (he was part of a project which had meetings in NY a couple of times, but no – we are not moving there).

It’s such a small world! I was sitting at a café taking a picture of this super delicious coffee when the girl who made me the coffee all of a sudden said Hi! You have a great blog!. Kimmie, YOU make great coffee!

Your photos of New York are some of the most stunning I've ever seen and I love the way you get right to what makes a place so special. I ache to discover NYC more than ever now.

My thought process when looking at your first picture: "A dentist office? That's not her usual kind of – OH HAHAHAHAHA!" 🙂

That is my favorite coffee shop! I go there every day, if I had seen you there I would have told you the same thing! I live right around the corner. Great photos of the neighborhood.

so nice! having a day to yourself to just roam around and take pictures of brooklyn is my idea of a fab holiday. when geoff and i went to paris, this is how we spent most of our days there. so great. love that the barista knew who you were – you do have a nice blog!

In the beginning it felt strange, but now I think it's fun to get to talk to my readers in person 🙂 It's always such nice people who say hi and I prefer it much better than receiving an e-mail/comment from a stranger saying they saw me somewhere because that makes me feel like I was being watched.

      This is the film:

Thanks for sharing! And yes, I agree, more ackward is to get a comment or e-mail!
Well, if by chance we happen to cross paths I'll say hi! 🙂
