Although I grew up in the north of Sweden, the Gothenburg cold is hard to stand. -8°c here feels almost as cold as -30°c in Luleå (close to the Arctic Circle). I almost don’t want to go out these days, but it’s ok because I have so much work to do and being indoors when it’s freezing cold outside is special.

Now I do have to go out though, because I’m meeting friends for beer at the local pub and it’ll be so much fun. I’m prepared with salopettes, curling boots, duffle coat, thick mittens and a beret! Cheers!

Also here it feels very cold when wind is hard, and it is -12 Celsius degrees cold. It is lovely to burn candles and burn wood in fireplace. Drink hot tea and wear wool clothes.

-30 sounds really cold! (Also in Utsjoki there is -33…)

You should expand on your wrist worms (and neck warmer) – do a full on body suit, I'd probably have to get one 😉

As funny it may seem, I would love to experience those temperatures ones. It gets cold here and we get snow, but not as much as in the north of Europe. But I have little luck convincing my boyfriend too join me…way to cold for him.

It's now minus 1 degrees here in the Netherlands. It's never been so cold here so early in the year! Looking forward to visit Sweden in winter.

It's cold here in London too!…however, not quite -8c…it's more like -2c…but when you live in an old drafty derelict house…it feels more like -30c!
Staying inside and doing art sounds good to me 🙂 x
